California Paralyzed Veterans Assn

As I lay in a VA Medical Ward armored from head to hip from a broken neck and back, I distinctly remember my first encounter from a PVA representative. He broke it down to me to the extent of disbelief. Yes, there were others like me who had similarily gone through what I just tradgically experienced. I soon came to realize I too can be a contributing member of society. A master's degree later, three children, and working for over 15 years, I am a living testament there is life after injury. I thank all of my accomplishments to the PVA, for it wasn't for them, I truly do not know who or what I would have become. I actively pay it forward, and will continue to do so as long as I have breath, or mind. From the simplest things as helping to attend outings, to helping to pay for athletic competitions, there isn't anything I feel ashamed to ask PVACC for assistance with. It is with your gracious donations, we can continue to pay it forward, to empower our fellow veterans in their quest of freedom and independence
