Calvary Downtown Outreach Church

Every Saturday for almost 14 years Calvary Downtown Outreach (CDO) feeds the homeless and needy within the inner city of Las Vegas. Our guests eat a tasty barbecue meal complete with a fresh vegetable salad and fresh fruit salad.  Each meal is completed with chips, cookies, and lemonade. Live music makes the day special. CDO collaborates with approximately 30 different churches, youth groups, and businesses to provide each Outreach.

CDO also operates a thriving food pantry where over 450 families come each month for grocery assistance. CDO distributed over 300,000 pounds of food in 2014 and volunteers logged about 250,000 volunteer hours to serve needy families that patronized our pantry.

In addition to food, pantry clients receive referrals to job helps programs, free medical clinics, after school youth programs, spiritual care and much more.

Calvary Downtown Outreach cares for the homeless and needy in Las Vegas and strives to do our part to end hunger and serve people in need.
