Our Project
Our Mission:
To preserve and restore the historic 1906 one-room Camano City Schoolhouse and Camano's very first Fire Hall, to document, preserve and exhibit Camano Island's unique history, to provide a vibrant gathering place for educational, entertainment and cultural activities for people of all ages and abilities.
Our Motto: "The old school becomes the new school."

To enrich the lives of Camano Island residents and visitors with the experience of “old school style” educational and cultural activities in a Washington Heritage Register 1906 one-room schoolhouse, accentuated with historic exhibits of Camano Island.
