Senior centers are not what they used to be.

Our senior center is a dynamic place that offers exercise classes, volunteering headquarters, local meeting place, tasty dining spot, art studio, and more.

Camas Senior Center starts its day with the Breakfast Club opening at 7:30 AM every weekday. Young and old stop by to start their day with good conversation and our $1.00 bottomless cup of coffee.  The highlights are Linda's biscuits and gravy or glazed maple bars fresh from the oven.

Later in the day you can participate in an exercise class, brush up on your computer skills, join the book club, take an art class, try your hand at pinochle, or help the quilters with their latest project.

Fun activities are planned to celebrate holidays, birthdays, and other special occasions.

Entertainment is provided by local groups and volunteers and community activities are always on the schedule.

Field trips keep things exciting and could include a Cat Trip up Soldier Mountain, a guided tour through the Sawtooth Botanical Gardens in Hailey, or a trip to Miracle Hot Springs in Hagerman to soak in the mineral waters.

There are plenty of volunteer opportunities available and we are always looking for extra help.
