Saint Camillus Church

Saint Camillus is Catholic inter-cultural parish in Silver Spring, Maryland, where each weekend thousands of people gather to worship, experience diversity in the community and to make a joyful noise unto the Lord.

We especially focus on ministry in English, Spanish, French, and Bangla but many other languages and cultures are found within our ten-weekend masses in our main church and our mission (the Catholic Community of Langley Park).

We strive to be a mission-driven community that seeks to serve,  reach out to and be advocates for our brothers and sisters especially the poor, immigrant and the alienated here and abroad. 

Our community lives the Gospel through action in the Franciscan tradition by providing direct service through our food pantries, our adult ESOL programs, through our St. Francis Builds service trips and the many works of charity done by our staff and many parish groups.

Since 1954 we have been dedicated to providing faith formation and education.  We sponsor Saint Francis International School, a regional Catholic schools of the Archdiocese of Washington, with a special focus on serving children from diverse backgrounds and we offer a large array of programs for children, youth, young adults, and adults through our Faith Formation (Sunday School), Youth Ministry, and a large number of faith sharing and devotional groups.

San Camilo es una parroquia intercultural católica en Silver Spring, Maryland, donde cada fin de semana miles de personas se reúnen para adorar, experimentar la diversidad en la comunidad y alabar al Señor. 

Nos enfocamos especialmente en el ministerio en inglés, español, francés y bengalí, pero muchos otros idiomas y culturas se encuentran dentro de nuestras diez misas de fin de semana en nuestra iglesia principal y nuestra misión (la Comunidad Católica de Langley Park). 

Nos esforzamos por ser una comunidad impulsada por la misión que busque servir, alcanzar y ser defensores de nuestros hermanos y hermanas, especialmente los pobres, los inmigrantes y los alienados aquí y en el extranjero. 

Nuestra comunidad vive el Evangelio a través de la acción en la tradición franciscana al brindar un servicio directo a través de nuestras despensas de alimentos, nuestros programas de ESOL para adultos, nuestros viajes de servicio de St. Francis Builds y las numerosas obras de caridad realizadas por nuestro personal y muchos grupos parroquiales. 

Desde 1954 nos hemos dedicado a brindar educación y formación en la fe. Patrocinamos la Escuela Internacional San Francis, una escuela católica regional de la Arquidiócesis de Washington, con un enfoque especial en atender a niños de diversos orígenes y ofrecemos una gran variedad de programas para niños, jóvenes, adultos jóvenes y adultos a través de nuestra Formación de Fe ( Escuela Dominical), Ministerio Juvenil y gran número de grupos de devoción y de fe.

সেন্ট ক্যামিলাস ক্যাথলিক ইন্টার-সাংস্কৃতিক প্যারিশ, মেরিল্যান্ডের সিলভার স্প্রিংয়ে, যেখানে প্রতি সপ্তাহান্তে হাজার হাজার মানুষ উপাসনা করতে জড়ো হয়, সম্প্রদায়ের বৈচিত্র্যকে উপভোগ করে এবং প্রভুর কাছে আনন্দদায়ক শব্দ তৈরি করে। আমরা বিশেষ করে ইংরেজি, স্প্যানিশ, ফ্রেঞ্চ এবং বাংলা ভাষায় মন্ত্রণালয়ের উপর নজর রাখি তবে আমাদের মূল গির্জার এবং আমাদের মিশন (ল্যাংলি পার্কের ক্যাথলিক সম্প্রদায়) আমাদের দশ সপ্তাহান্তে জনসাধারণের মধ্যে অনেক অন্যান্য ভাষা ও সংস্কৃতির সন্ধান পাওয়া যায়।

আমরা একটি মিশন চালিত সম্প্রদায় হতে চেষ্টা করি যা পরিবেশন করতে চায়, আমাদের ভাই ও বোনদের জন্য বিশেষ করে দরিদ্র, অভিবাসী এবং বিদেশে বিচ্ছিন্ন হয়ে ওঠার জন্য পৌঁছানোর এবং সেগুলির পক্ষে সমর্থন করে। আমাদের সম্প্রদায় আমাদের সেন্ট ফ্রান্সিসের মাধ্যমে সেবা ভ্রমনের মাধ্যমে আমাদের খাদ্য প্যান্ট্রি, আমাদের প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক ESOL প্রোগ্রামগুলির মাধ্যমে সরাসরি পরিষেবা প্রদান করে এবং আমাদের কর্মীদের দ্বারা এবং অনেক প্যারিশ গোষ্ঠী দ্বারা দাতব্য অনেক কাজ করে, ফ্রান্সিসকান ঐতিহ্যে কর্মের মাধ্যমে আমাদের গোষ্ঠীকে গসপেল করে।

1954 সাল থেকে আমরা বিশ্বাস গঠন ও শিক্ষা প্রদানের জন্য নিবেদিত হয়েছি। আমরা ওয়াশিংটনের আর্কডোকোসিজের আঞ্চলিক ক্যাথলিক স্কুলে সেন্ট ফ্রান্সিস ইন্টারন্যাশনাল স্কুলকে স্পনসর করি, বিভিন্ন পটভূমি থেকে শিশুদের সেবা করার জন্য বিশেষ মনোযোগ দিয়ে এবং আমরা আমাদের বিশ্বাস গঠনের মাধ্যমে শিশু, যুবক, তরুণ প্রাপ্তবয়স্কদের এবং প্রাপ্তবয়স্কদের জন্য বড় ধরণের প্রোগ্রাম অফার করি। রবিবার স্কুল), যুব মন্ত্রণালয়, এবং বিশ্বাসের ভাগ্য এবং ভক্তিমূলক গ্রুপ বৃহৎ সংখ্যা। সব সেন্ট ক্যামিলাস স্বাগত জানাই!
