Thomas came to the realization that he was depressed 6 years ago, although the depression was likely there for much longer than that. After a rapid decline, Thomas found himself with no money, no home, and no friends. Homeless and living on the streets, Thomas felt there was no more reason to live. Luckily, he called a suicide prevention hotline and wound up in Caminar's care. He was able to find steady housing and a true sense of purpose.
