Camp Twin Lakes Inc

For 30 years, Camp Twin Lakes has delivered year-round, fully-adaptive, medically supportive, and deeply impactful camp experiences to more than 10,000 of Georgia’s children and young adults each year. This year, we opened our third campus, which will allow us to serve approximately 3,500 more campers a year. It also allows us to expand our mental health-related camps by working with new partners including Skyland Trail and CHRIS 180.

Through intentional play, we help each camper grow in their confidence and experience the joys of childhood. This approach develops mindful and confident children who are prepared to triumph over challenges. By learning perseverance, resilience, and a sense of community, our campers leave transformed and capable of extraordinary things.

The magic happens at our three campuses in Rutledge and Winder, Georgia, where each camper experiences the joys of childhood through our intentionally-designed programs, which help them overcome obstacles as they learn new skills to more independently manage their challenges. As they make memories with their peers, the isolation they often feel vanishes in the comfort of new friendships forged by the strongest of bonds—the challenges they have in common.
