Camp Allegro Wichita

Camp Allegro Wichita is committed to providing musical opportunities to all youth and young adults, from pre-school through college (ages 4 to 24). Our sixth summer session in June 2014, with increasing enrollment every summer.  Our teachers are professionally trained musicians who are dedicated to giving expert and caring instruction to youth of all abilities. Musicians may study all string and band instruments as well as piano and organ. Our comprehensive camp program gives campers the opportunity to participate in chamber music as well as large ensembles such as orchestra, band, jazz band,  and choir. Private lessons are also available as well as electives like bagpipes, guitar, percussion, jazz improv, fiddling, music theory, and sound engineering. We also offer fine arts classes such as art and photography. Every camper's schedule is individualized and tailored to his or her abilities and musical preferences. All monetary funds are used solely for the development of the camp; scholarships based on financial need are available.
