Penuel, Inc.

Penuel was chartered as a Missouri Corporation in 1973. We were subsequently recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(C)(3) Charitable Organization, which means that gifts to us are tax deductible. We are non-denominational, and our main focus is inner city, at risk, and underprivileged children ages 7-11
The main campus of Camp Penuel is located on 650 acres on the beautiful Lake Killarney and Anderson Mountain in the Arcadia Valley near Ironton, MO. Camp Penuel was founded by Rev. Harry H. Douma and he lovingly led the camp until his death in 2011. We are now under the leadership of Joy Douma Booth and the Board of Directors. Since 1973 Camp Penuel has served more than 95,000 needy children, with no cost to the children or their families.
