Mission

The Canadian Education Foundation partners with the community to provide resources to enrich teaching, inspire learning, and maximize innovative opportunities for all students in the Canadian Independent School District. The Canadian Education Foundation was founded by a group of caring and committed citizens with a vision to enhance educational opportunities and student success in Canadian Independent School District. The foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt philanthropic organization. A volunteer board of directors composed of business, community, and educational leaders governs the foundation. 

Success

The CEF has awarded more than $75,000 to over 65 educators through the innovative teacher grants.  More than $6,000 is given to graduating seniors each year through CEF administered scholarships.  The Pam Spencer Passion Award is given to an outstanding teacher each year in memory of one of Canadians most passionate educators. The All School Reunion brings in over 600 past students and their guests every five years. The CEF hosts a free barbeque tailgate each Homecoming. Many other successes have been achieved with your help!
