Cancer Awareness Network for Children Inc

This program was birth out of the pain of our mother's diagnoses with cancer.  We were devistated 14 years ago.  We did not want others to experience this tragedy without proper support, so we developed a nonporfit organization that touches over 250 lives each year bringing hope to cancer patients and their families. 

We host quarterly free luncheon/workshops at local churches and community centers throughout the area, and honor cancer survirors, empower caretakers and family members whoes loved ones are diagnosed with cancer. We have doctors and other health professionals in the area of oncology to speak at our workshops, providing vital information concerning early detection, healthy life-styles and how to take advantage of other health resources in the community.  We also donate to cancer research and partner with other organization with our goals in common.  Our goal is to Wipe Out cancer, ensuring our future generations health and wellness.
