Candelen, (formerly The Association for Supportive Child Care) has provided high quality services to child care providers, families, and children since 1976.

At Candelen, each program serves a unique set of needs in the child care field. Candelen is committed to the well-being of children throughout Arizona and supporting child care professionals and parents in their role of caring for our future.

Candelen's programs offer training and education to child care professionals, provide parents with assistance locating child care that meets their needs and teach school-age children how to be safe when home alone and on the Internet through an after-school "warm" phone line.

Here at Candelen, we realize that the need for quality child care continues to be critical and everyday, we are a support and resource for families and early childhood professionals.
