Canines For Service, Inc. (CFS) was established December 1, 1996 in Wilmington, NC. Our mission is to empower people with disabilities to achieve greater independence and enhanced quality of life through the services of specially trained assistance dogs. We create life-changing partnerships between Veterans and service dogs at no cost to the Veteran. We serve Veterans nationwide, from all branches with service-connected PTSD, Traumatic Brain Injuries, and/or mobility limitations.
