Cantabile was founded in 2001 and chose its name in recognition of the great
influence of the Western Art tradition in women’s choral music. We are an
auditioned chorus and perform a varied repetoire of women's choral literature
across musical periods. Our mission is to advance the understanding and
appreciation of women’s choral music through learning and performing a
repertoire of women’s choral literature across musical periods.
