Show Us Some Love! 

The Canyons Education Foundation is excited to take part in MightyCause #GivingTuesday. Money raised by CEF is used to fund Teacher Innovation Grants, scholarships for deserving and low-income students, and classroom programs, and supports students in need throughout the Canyons School District.

With over 2000 students in transitional housing, and at least 31 percent of students at Canyons School District's highly impacted schools qualifying for free- or reduced-price lunch, the need is clear. If parents can’t pay for lunch, they can’t possibly pay the high price of college tuition. 

Regardless, more and more Canyons students are working hard to become academically ready for college and careers. Graduation rates have risen district-wide, and highly impacted schools are making real strides toward closing the achievement gap. Sixty-five percent of the students in the Class of 2018 earned Honors or Advanced diplomas by challenging themselves with more rigorous coursework, and for three years running, the College Board has named Canyons to its prestigious Honor Roll for our high Advanced Placement (AP) exam participation and pass rates.
