The mission of the Capital Area Food Bank is to nourish hungry people and lead the community in ending hunger. The Food Bank currently provides food and grocery products to more than 370 agencies in 21 Central Texas counties.


The Capital Area Food Bank's program include distribution of food to more than 380 human service agencies, 31 Kids Cafe sites, Fresh Food for Families distribution, Healthy Options Program for the Elderly, and CHOICES, a nutrition education program, food stamp outreach program, and a partner agency capacity building initiative.
