Mission

Capitol Hill Pregnancy Center opened its doors in 1985 and is located strategically on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC. In nearly 35 years of existence Capitol Hill Pregnancy Center has been able to minister to over 66,000 women and men in a variety of ways. Over 6,000 babies have been born as a result of this ministry. Washington, DC has proportionately the highest number of pregnancies, the highest number of teen births and the highest number of abortions in the nation. Abortions outnumber live births in Washington, DC. Our mission is to serve Christ by providing education and abortion alternatives for women facing crisis pregnancies; to prepare and train parents for pregnancy, birth and beyond; express the love of Christ through emotional support and friendship; and encourage a lifestyle that reflects godly values, especially with regard to sexual behavior.

Programs

CHPC offers pregnancy testing, peer counseling & education, support and referrals at no cost and free maternity & baby clothes and supplies that have been donated to us. We also present parenting classes, childbirth classs and abstinence education in the schools and community. CHPC also offers post-abortion healing all at no cost.
