Capoeira Life

The mission of Capoeira Life is to provide access to individuals from under-resourced backgrounds to the teachings of Capoeira Angola to become physically and mentally empowered. Our purpose is to grow and support our community. Primarily focusing efforts on youths from under-resourced backgrounds, Capoeira Life uses the movement and music of Capoeira Angola to develop in its students respect, awareness, strength, and agility. Through a combination of alternative curricula including both ancient traditions and modern Capoeira techniques, we aim to ensure that this sacred element of African-Brazilian culture survives for generations to come.
