Carden Country School

Carden Country School is a small K-8 interdenominational Christian school serving students on Bainbridge Island and greater Kitsap County offering a unique educational approach and student experience that is centered around the development of mind, heart, and character.

Students are inspired to love God and are empowered to be leading world citizens through their service to others. We believe that educating children to become thoughtful, kind, and responsible is as important as teaching them reading, writing, and mathematics. Daily actions, prayer, service, and the teachings of our "Standards for Living and Learning" instill the time-honored principles of courtesy, respect, responsibility, and love.

Carden Country School provides students with a well-rounded, structured, and joyful environment for learning and the development of a first-rate education. Two-grade classrooms and small group instruction are key components to the academic program and increase student participation and success. Highly effective, enthusiastic, and devoted teachers create a secure classroom environment where the student-to-teacher ratio is typically 6:1.
