CARE House's Mission Statement: To provide resources and services to child victims of sexual abuse and severe physical abuse, their supportive family members, and the community through a multidisciplinary team approach while empowering all toward child abuse prevention. CARE House is Baldwin County's resource and referral source on child abuse.

FY 2010-2011: In Fiscal Year 2010-2011, Care House staff provided 206 direct services to primary and secondary victims of abuse. 69 children received counseling services through out the year while 52 non-offending caregivers received family advocate services. Public awareness presentations were delivered to approximately 2500 individuals through church, civic, and school presentations. 3,584 children were taught about Internet Safety and 1,340 children were taught, through a puppet show, about how to stay safe from abuse. 647 adults were taught about the mandatory reporting of child abuse and neglect.   Because of the geneority of those who give we are able to  fulfill our mission statement. Our main location is in Bay Minette, Alabama with a
satellite site in Summerdale, Alabama. CARE House serves all of Baldwin County
and all services are offered at no charge to the child/supportive family
members.
