We take for granted that the best healthcare will be available for us when we or our loved one need it.  But for thousands in our community this is not the case. Poverty, health illiteracy, language barriers and the ability to pay keep many of our neighbors and their dependents suffering needlessly. The healthcare climate is changing and many of those we see every day are still left out in the cold.  

For over 20 years, Caring Health Center has provided quality care for residents regardless of insurance, ability to pay, cultural or language barriers. Every day the center delivers urgently needed care to hundreds of patients at three sites with over 51,000 patient visits a year. 

At Caring Health Center all are welcome – from newborns to seniors, English speaking to those in need of translation - from around the world to just around the corner. They all share one thing in common – they are the underserved and we are their safety net. 

Caring Health Center provides the best in evidence-based, cost-effective, culturally and linguistically sensitive primary health care to the residents of Springfield and surrounding communities. Our language-based trained medical interpreters serve in fourteen languages. Our providers specialize in adult, children, family practice, women’s health, geriatrics, mental health, dentistry, and wellness. We have a state of the art Wellness Center containing exercise equipment and a mini-kitchen to teach cooking classes and healthy eating habits. All are free to the community.
