Friends of the Children's Garden

The mission of the garden is to inspire, educate, and motivate the community to use gardening as a tool to bring families in touch with nature and each other.

Funds donated to support the Carolina Children's Garden will be used to refurbish and repair our popular themed stations that include the Alphabet Garden's ABC Fence, Mr. McGregor's Garden, Pooh's Corner Garden, Old McDonald's Farmstead, the kid-sized birdhouse in the Bird Garden, the Mesozoic Memories Dinosaur Garden and the Carolina Fence Garden. Plans are to expand the Growing Healthy Garden so children can plant and grow vegetables there. Long term, we will work toward being able to hire a full-time educator and construct additional outdoor support facilities.
