Carrollwood Players Theatre is a place where everyday people from all walks of life are welcome to participate and learn about the magic of live theater – free of charge.

For nearly 40 years, our volunteer-driven community theater has provided thousands of Tampa Bay residents the opportunity to experience performing on stage, building a set, making costumes, designing props, running lights and sound, helping with publicity, and much more.

And tens of thousands of their neighbors have attended hundreds of productions at affordable prices to cheer them on.

It’s all about community. And our community welcomes ALL.

Now in its fourth year, our Kidspeak Youth Playwriting Challenge provides budding young writers the chance to see their plays performed on stage by experienced adult actors.

We are also passionate about developing new, locally written works, and we consistently produce world premiere productions of both plays and musicals.

We present a busy schedule of nearly two dozen Mainstage and Black Box productions every season, ensuring that many members of our community have the chance to get involved with live theater.

We have big dreams to continue to grow our ability to offer programming that provides access to the arts for people from every corner of our community.

If you feel it is important for everyday people from all backgrounds to learn about and participate in the arts, we would be extremely grateful for your support.

We rely on the support of our community so that we can keep our ticket prices affordable and more importantly, so that we can continue to open our doors and welcome new faces to our family as we have for decades.

Thank you for supporting Carrollwood Players Theatre!
