OUR MISSION: Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of the Ninth's purpose is to provide well trained, court appointed volunteer advocates to abused and neglected children in Colorado's Ninth Judicial District. Our goal is a safe, permanent, nurturing home for every child we serve.

CASA of the Ninth is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization serving Garfield, Pitkin, and Rio Blanco counties in Colorado.

We are a member of the National CASA Association and Colorado CASA. CASA volunteers are appointed by judges to be a voice for abused and            neglected children in court and in the community. The desired result is that children be placed in safe, loving homes where they can thrive. There are over 100 children involved in abuse and neglect cases in the Ninth Judicial Circuit of Colorado. Our goal is to help these children find a safe and permanent home.

Donations to CASA of the Ninth qualify for the Colorado Child Care Contribution Credit on your income taxes for businesses and individuals. Talk with you tax adviser to learn more about how when you donate to CASA, the state of Colorado allows you to take a 50% tax credit on your state income taxes in         addition to the regular state and federal deductions for a charitable contribution.
