Casa for Children of the District of Columbia

CASA DC is central to fulfilling society’s most fundamental obligation to protect and care for youth  by making sure a qualified, compassionate adult will fight for and protect a youth’s right to be safe, to be treated with dignity and respect, and to learn and grow in the security of a loving family.

Since 2002, hundreds people from the Washington metropolitan region have completed training to join DC’s movement on behalf of youth that have been abused and neglected.  More than 700 youth have been served by these extraordinary volunteers.
