Volunteers help elderly and disabled persons to remain safe and independent in their homes by improving basic living conditions, such as doing minor home repairs, painting, chores, whetherization, building wheelchair ramps, installiing grab bars, handrails and smoke detectors.  Transportaion to medical centers outside of the county area is also provided. Tub transfer chairs, shower chairs, heaters and fans are given to those who need these items

With CASA's Reach Services, families of all ages are helped. Reach has a childrens clothing room, food pantry, provides toiletries, household items and used furntiure.  Financial aid can be given for prescriptions, gasoline to a doctor, and kerosene for heating. 

All help that CASA gives is at no charge to the family or individual.

CASA serves all of Jackson County.  Cities and towns in Jackson County are Scottsboro, Bridgeport, Stevenson, Bryant, Pisgah, Section, Dutton, Skyline, Hiytop, Pleasant Groves, Woodville, Fackler, Paintrock,  and Princton.
