Cascade Leadership Challenge

Cascade Leadership Challenge is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing leadership and outdoor adventure opportunities to youth ages 14-20. CLC empowers its members to develop trust, overcome challenges in an outdoor setting, and gain the skills to succeed in the real world.

Young people are naturally curious and social. To these qualities we add skills, vision and leadership. While building confidence and experience, our members broaden their perspectives and challenge their own preconceived notions about the world around them. By teaching teamwork, tolerance, and compassion, we are breaking down the social barriers that keep too many of us apart. By doing so, we are empowering youth to organize locally and engage globally.

To deliver these programs, we partner with a variety of outdoor organizations, outfitters and industry groups, and land-management agencies. Our trips are led by a small group of experienced youth and adult volunteers. Together, we believe in promoting youth development and high adventure in the Greater Seattle Area and throughout the Pacific Northwest.
