History of Corporate America Supports You (CASY) – Who We Are:

Corporate America Supports You (CASY) was chartered in 2010 as a private sector non-profit organization with the mission to provide no-cost employment readiness, vocational training, and one-on-one job placement services for National Guard, Reserves, transitioning service members, and veterans of all branches of service. The organization was founded by RADM Dan Kloeppel, US Navy (ret.) who, after a 36 year military career, possesses a unique perspective on the problems faced by service members when transitioning to the civilian workplace. CASY works directly with its sister organization, the Military Spouse Corporate Career Network (MSCCN) – chartered in 2004 – functioning as one Military job-placement unit serving two target audiences. Where CASY offers an outlet for the Military Service Member, MSCCN focuses on spouses of Military, family members, and Military caregivers. CASY-MSCCN operates as an employment partner to all branches of the Armed Forces, including the National Guard and Coast Guard, through Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs). All of our employment and training programs are supported by solid partnerships with major corporations, job-recruiters, mid-size companies, and small businesses that provide employment opportunities for our Military-affiliated job seekers. Our state-of-the-art Gateway technology, built by IBM, provides real-time, verifiable tracking and outcome reports to our employment partners, Military, and donors. 

Our Work – What We Do:

Our focus is not on just the resume or pushing our job seekers through an automated search, but on what the individual needs in order to facilitate placement. We accomplish our mission by providing boots to the ground outreach within the military and veteran communities; identifying those in need of our services and registering them in our program; providing high-touch targeted employment services such as baseline assessments, targeted training, and employability skills training; providing gap skill training solutions through our Train2Hire programs; and connecting our qualified and job-ready applicants directly to corporate and small business hiring recruiters for direct job placement. Every action, service, communication, plus other metrics from each job seeker, are tracked inside our IBM applicant tracking and case management system which allows us to report status and outcomes, track diversity and other data, and analyze our work on a regular basis to determine how we can be more successful for those we serve.
