My name is Marie Minor, and I am the Founder and CEO of Cater 2 You
Youth Haven—a 24-hour emergency residential care shelter for homeless and
at-risk youth ages 13–21 in Upper Darby, PA. What you see today wasn’t built
with grants or government funding. It was built from my own savings, fueled by
unwavering faith, and driven by a deep love for youth society too often casts
aside.

This wasn’t a business venture—it was a calling. One born from my
experience as a therapeutic foster parent, opening my own home to teen girls
and LGBTQ+ youth. From years spent working as a substitute teacher, mentoring,
and advocating for the forgotten. I envisioned a space that didn’t feel
institutional—but inspiring. Not just safe—but healing. Not just temporary—but
transformational.

Cater 2 You Youth Haven is that vision brought to life. I fully funded and renovated this
three-story shelter myself, creating a luxury, wellness-centered environment
that honors the dignity and humanity of every young person who walks through
our doors.

And beyond the luxury, we offer what matters most: hope, healing, and
opportunity.

Youth here receive:

We are proudly licensed under 55 Pa. Code Chapter 3800, with short-term
stays up to six months. Every detail, every piece of furniture, and every
program was chosen to affirm that these youth are worthy—not just of shelter,
but of excellence.

One of our most urgent needs is transportation.

We are raising funds to purchase a van to safely transport youth to school,
court, interviews, medical appointments, and community programs. Without this,
vital opportunities are missed—and that simply isn’t an option.
