In the heart of Galliano, the Catholic Community Center serves as a beacon of hope for families and individuals facing challenges. Every day, we witness the resilience of our clients, but we also see the struggles they endure. Many are unable to afford essential personal care items as well as cleaning supplies that are not covered by food stamps, leaving them with choices that no one should have to make.
These everyday challenges can feel overwhelming, but together, we can lighten their burden.
This year, as part of our iGiveCatholic campaign, we are aiming to raise $10,000 to provide crucial personal care items for our clients. Your donations will help us provide:
- Cleaning Supplies: Multi-Surface Cleaner, Clorox Wipes, Mopping Solution, Broom and Mops, etc.
- Personal Care Items: Laundry Detergent, Dish Soap, Tooth Paste, Deodorant, and Toilet Paper.
Every dollar you contribute will go directly toward acquiring these necessary items and distributing them to those who need them most. Your generosity will not only provide material support but also let our clients know that they are valued and cared for by their community.
Who We Are
CCC is a volunteer organization which provides compassionate relief to
those experiencing a financial crisis. We service all at-risk vulnerable
populations, with free human services to address hunger, lack of adequate clothing,
lack of life saving medicine, and conditions that could lead to homelessness. We also make a special effort to serve elderly, disabled and
chronically ill individuals who will never be able to improve their own
situations to become self-sufficient. Catholic Community Center does
not receive any government help nor do we anticipate any in the future. The
program is sustained through our thrift store sales (which are critical to our
success), through private donations from businesses and neighbors, food drives
held on our behalf by caring groups and students and in-kind donations through
Catholic Charities and the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux. Catholic Community
Center serves people from the Valentine Bridge in Lafourche Parish on Highway
1, southward up to and including Grand Isle. We have been in operation since 1983.

- Providing Catholic Social Media platform to our parishes and schools - $6,000
- Creation of Video content for marketing purpsoes - $2500
- Cover the cost of partnering with 5 schools and 5 parishes to provide newsletters at no cost to the school and parish - $10,000
- Assist in providing our Donor Portal for our partners to make their philanthropic giving easy and impactful. - $15,000
- Grants to schools and parishes - $5000

course of the past 10 years back into our community through the Catholic
