Let's help our Catholic schools shine!

All parents want a school that will bring out the best in their child and, for over 350 years, families of all faiths have entrusted their children’s education to Catholic schools. However, as rising costs compel private schools to raise tuition, more families struggle to meet the cost of a Catholic education.

The Mid-Atlantic Catholic Schools Consortium (MACSC) was formed to address the challenges facing our region's Catholic schools. The MACSC is a collaborative effort of six Catholic (arch)dioceses with the goal of strengthening and promoting more than 300 Catholic schools in Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and the District of Columbia. The MACSC is helping Catholic schools reduce their expenses and secure more resources, so that they can uphold their educational quality while keeping tuition affordable.

Give Catholic schools the resources they need to continue their tradition of excellence!

Catholic schools challenge students to reach the highest academic standards and have a 99% graduation rate nationwide. When you give to the MACSC, you help Catholic schools provide a high-quality education to students from families of all income levels. Your contribution supports initiatives to strengthen our schools, both financially and academically. Consider these MACSC accomplishments:

  • The MACSC's strategic procurement programs have helped Catholic schools save hundreds of thousands of dollars on the purchase of school supplies, technology products, electricity and natural gas supply, and other services.

  • Our leadership programs and other workshops for Catholic school educators are helping our schools innovate and take advantage of new resources in areas such as advocacy, marketing, special education, and technology.

  • Because of MACSC research and training on Catholic school participation in federal education programs, our schools have made significant gains in securing federal funds and services designated for private school students and teachers.

The MACSC advocates for our Catholic school at the state and national level and actively supports school choice legislation in the Mid-Atlantic states--so that every family can choose the school that is best for their child. We also spread the good news about Catholic education through collaborative communication campaigns sponsored by our six (arch)dioceses.

The Mid-Atlantic Catholic Schools Consortium is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, tax exempt organization, that represents the interests of Catholic schools in the (arch)dioceses of Arlington, Baltimore, Richmond, Washington, Wheeling-Charleston, and Wilmington.
