Seniors, St. Joseph Place
St. Joseph Place is an independent living community for low income seniors offering affordable housing in a peaceful, wooded setting minutes from downtown Atlanta. Located on a six acre tract adjoining Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, St. Joseph Place is an inviting cluster of one-story apartments, each with a private entrance and over 500 square feet of space.
$500 Helps a senior wash clothes for a year.

At Risk Children, Safe Passages
Safe Passages services are provided in-home and are designed to ensure that vulnerable children are in a safe environment. Home studies are provided for children identified as most vulnerable prior to discharge from temporary childcare homes run by the Office of Refugee Resettlement, and post-release services ensure that children have access to care they need.

Catholic Charities Atlanta ensures that vulnerable individuals can attain economic self-sufficiency through programs designed to develop critical life skills, provide education and access to employment, address their well-being, and ensure families have basic food security and safety. We believe that charitable assistance that leaves the poor as they are is not sufficient.

We want to provide a hand up, not a hand out for those who want to live independent, self-directed lives free of financial instability and homelessness. We provide a holistic combination of accredited social services that remove barriers to self-sufficiency and wholeness. We tailor our services for the unique circumstances of the people we serve.
