Your donation to CCHS through giveBIG will go directly TOWARDS PURCHASING THE VELO PLUS WHEELCHAIR BICYCLE!

In 2019, CCHS expanded resident opportunities to be outside with the purchase of a Trishaw bicycle. Residents were able to get fresh air and enjoy nature around both of the CCHS campuses. The carriage like setting of the Trishaw is charming and the piloted bike allows residents opportunity to be outside and see the beauty of the areas we live in. This year, CCHS is asking for your help to provide another option of outdoor fun with the purchase of a VeloPlus wheelchair bicycle (see picture above).  

The VeloPlus wheelchair transport bike is designed for transporting people, while seated in their own wheelchair, by cycle. The passenger is not required to be transferred between the wheelchair and the cycle, making it safer and more convenient.  We can already see the sunny days and smiles into the cycling seasons of the future!

We cannot make this dream come true without you and we are asking for your help to raise the $13,500 needed to provide this opportunity to the CCHS family of      residents. No gift is too small and all dollars are tax-deductible. Can you help us with $25, $50, $100? Whatever is on your heart, we thank you for your help!
