Simply put, we believe every child deserves the very best beginning.

The Celebrate Children Foundation is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization that helps communities throughout Wisconsin create the most effective early learning systems for children from birth to age five. Through public-private partnerships, our initiatives reach children at a critical time in their development and help to promote the growth of healthy, engaged citizens. We have created a permanent endowment to ensure that investments will continue to be made for young children throughout the state.

Why Birth to Five? Why Now?

• We increasingly understand the importance of the first five years of life, during which time research has shown young children's brains form lasting connections

• We recognize the growing number of children with all available parents in the workforce and the parallel surge of child care and preschool services needed to meet the demand

• We hear the concerns about gaps in school readiness, especially for children from disadvantaged backgrounds

• We are heartened by the extraordinary research on economic benefits of investing early in a child’s development

Every child in our state should have the very best beginning – whether at home or in any early childhood program.
