The Center for Community Transitions, Inc.

The mission of The Center for Community Transitions (CCT) is to strengthen our community by helping individuals with criminal records and their families find a healthier and more productive way of living through 4 programs:

1. LifeWorks! - Supportive employment readiness skills and job retention program helps justice-involved individuals find and keep work.
2. Families Doing Time - Supports children and families impacted by the incarceration or deportation of a family member via in-school social-emotional learning/support groups, after school enrichment institute, monthly family gatherings, and caregiver support groups.
3. Center for Women - Residential work release program where currently incarcerated women spend the final 1-3 years of their NC state prison sentence preparing to transition back into the community and reunite with their families. At our Center for Women, we also offer behavioral health services that provide personalized support through client-centered treatment grounded in compassion and personal accountability.
