It is hard to imagine what life would be like in Silicon Valley without the myriad of social, educational, environmental, arts, health and human services that are provided every day by the nonprofit sector.  The expectations are high--nonprofit organizations are asked to solve society's most complex problems, yet they have nowhere near the resources needed for this daunting task.
