The Center was started in 1990 with the mission to advocate for non-violence through intervention, education, and prevention in order to create a safe enviornment for all individuals, families, and communities.
Our services are free and confidential we serve victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, stalking, elder abuse, and human trafficking in Boone, Butler, Colfax, Nance, Platte, and Polk Counties in rural Nebraska.
Other services include - emergency shelter, 24 hour English/Spanish crisis line, English/Spanish support groups for women and children, Teen Educational groups in eleven area high school and middle schools, Educational Presentations, Men's Batterer's Intervention Program (fee program) and Turning Points Program; Women Who Use Violence (fee program).
