PLEASE JOIN US AND "PAY IT FORWARD" TO SUPPORT OUR REGION'S NEXT GENERATION OF BUSINESS AND ENTREPRENEURIAL LEADERS!
Imagine a place where young people from Southern and Eastern Kentucky receive leadership skills and exclusive college scholarship opportunities to seize their potential as the region’s next generation of business and entrepreneurial leaders.
You can be a part of making this dream a reality for students in our 45-county primary service area by supporting The Center for Rural Development’s Rogers Scholars Program on #GivingTuesday (Nov. 28, 2023).
Your donation will help us instill in some of the “best and brightest minds” in Kentucky a desire to serve and lead their communities so that, in the words of U.S. Congressman Harold “Hal” Rogers (KY-05), “…no young person will have to leave home to find his or her future.”
So, let’s “pay it forward” for the next generation by making an online donation to support The Center for Rural Development's youth programs and our future leaders and entrepreneurs.
All donations are tax-deductible and will go to help provide lodging, food, and other program expenses for our 2024 summer camps. Our youth programs are 100 percent supported by YOU and offered at no cost to students selected to attend these programs.
Join us in supporting The Center for Rural Development on #GivingTuesday! You may donate anytime between now and Nov. 28, 2023.
Meet 2023 Rogers Scholar Bailey Watts
Participating in The Center for Rural Development's Youth Programs has been transformational. I graduated from the Rogers Explorers and Rogers Scholars programs. The programs developed my leadership abilities, enhanced my communication skills, and fostered an openness in me I never thought possible.
Having been a shy and timid individual, the welcoming and like-minded community within these programs has allowed me to cultivate meaningful connections and friendships that have helped me break out of my shell.
Rogers Scholars broadened my horizons, opening my eyes to colleges and opportunities that I hadn't considered before.
Meet 2023 Rogers Scholar Shelbie Harris
From the moment you step on campus, you're surrounded by a supportive and encouraging community. Your fellow students, mentors and RA’s become like a family.
Sponsoring a child's participation in the Rogers Scholars Program is a powerful way to help shape our future. There are so many bright kids who yearn to make a difference, but often money becomes an obstacle.
Your donation ensures they can seize opportunities, use their leadership skills, make new friends, and engage with colleges for potential scholarships.
Meet 2023 Rogers Scholar Mason Isaacs
The Rogers Scholars Program is a transformative experience that cultivates leaders from varied backgrounds.
Our students become the guiding lights of not only their local communities but have the potential to impact their states, countries, and even the world.
By donating, you're investing in the future, fostering development and growth in our society, and facilitating enriching experiences and connections for these rising stars.
