Central Kentucky Council for Peace and Justice Inc

We think globally and work locally for a world that is more just, sustainable, and peaceful.   We build coalitions and partnerships, educate and advocate, and provide the tools—such as our Peaceways newsletter—that equip members to take action for peace and justice.    

Through Community Game Nights, our Lexington United initiative provides opportunities for Lexintonians to take a break from the day-to-day to laugh and play with people they might not usually get a chance to meet. Graduates of our YouthUnited! Leadership Camp lead participants in a number of games designed to build community through problem solving and shared experiences. You play, everyone wins!

Because we believe cooperation and collaboration requires sharing knowledge and information, we organize and support allies, workshops, seminars, lectures, special events and co-sponsor numerous community collaborations.
