Central Pennsylvania Submarine Memorial Foundation

The Central PA Submarine Memorial Foundation (CPSMF) raises funds to help maintain the Lycoming County Veterans Memorial Park and Submarine Memorials in the area, including the Submarine Memorial at the park.

We are currently raising funds to help with the addition of a granite Intruder Tribute Obelisk Monument to be installed next to the A6 Intruder at the park.

The Central PA Submarine Memorial Foundation is already in the process of providing funding for the complete renovation of the Submarine Memorial at the Lycoming County Veterans Memorial Park this Spring.

The Central Pennsylvania Submarine Memorial Foundation is a not-for-profit, 501c(3) organization.  All contributions made to the Central Pennsylvania Submarine Memorial Foundation are tax deductible. 

Recent Projects at the Lycoming County Veterans Memorial Park

The torpedo was lifted off the Submarine Memorial on March 11th to begin the complete restoration of the Submarine Memorial.

The addition of 7 flag poles and flags at the Gold Star Families Memorial.  One flag for each branch of the Armed Forces and a Gold Star Families Flag

Future Purple Heart Memorial will be installed this Summer and dedicated on August 7, 2024, on National Purple Heart Day.

Installation of a display sign to educate visitors on the history of our A6 Intruder (Buno 161676) and the significant role that it played in our nation's defense.

The Vietnam Memorial at the park was selected as one of 7 sites in Pennsylvania for the National Tour of Honor Motorcycle Ride.   Visitors from more than a dozen states visited the Vietnam Memorial at the park from April 1, 2003 to October 31, 2023 the duration of the Tour of Honor.
