Central Presbyterian Church

What began 20 years ago by serving soup and sandwiches to a small number of neighbors in Old Louisville, has now become a full hot, sit-down meal with a dessert. We now regularly serve about 120 neighbors every Wednesday in the Community Room of Central Presbyterian Church.

Many menu items are made from scratch as this is more economical and includes favorites such as meatloaf, macaroni and cheese, and warm apple crisp. Our lunch has a reputation for being served hot and tasting like a home cooked meal.

Old Louisville is designated a food desert by the USDA, meaning there is little access to affordable, nutritious food.

In the past year, we served meals every Wednesday totaling 7092 meals at a cost of less than $2.50 per meal. To continue this valuable ministry of providing delicious and nutritious meals, our goal is to raise $20,000. Thank you for your support
