All across Utah, immigrant families are living in fear as increased enforcement actions by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) disproportionately target Hispanic and Latino individuals. We are witnessing community members detained and deported without adequate access to legal counsel or meaningful due process. Parents are separated from children. Workers are removed from jobs that sustain local businesses. Families are left destabilized overnight.

Elevate Utah refuses to stand by while our community is silenced, targeted, and destabilized.

We are fighting back by ensuring that immigrants know their rights, have access to qualified legal representation, and receive the support they need not only to survive—but to succeed—in this country.

Our response includes:

Immigration Legal Services
Our experienced immigration legal team provides direct representation in a wide range of immigration cases, including removal defense, asylum, family petitions, VAWA protections, U visas, T visas, DACA renewals, and citizenship applications. At a time when due process is increasingly out of reach for vulnerable families, we ensure individuals are not forced to navigate the legal system alone. Access to competent legal counsel can mean the difference between family unity and permanent separation.

Food and Hygiene Pantry
When a wage earner is detained or deported, families immediately face financial crisis. Our pantry provides food and essential hygiene items so children and spouses are not further punished by economic hardship.

Community Education & Workforce Development
We strengthen long-term stability by offering English classes, HVAC training, residential electrical training, computer literacy, and other career-building programs. Empowered individuals with marketable skills are better positioned to contribute economically and build secure futures for their families.

Community Resource Navigation
We provide wraparound support including resume building, translations, notarizations, and application assistance. When we do not directly provide a service, we connect families with trusted partners—ensuring that no one is left without guidance.
