Centura Educational Foundation

The mission of the Centura Educational Foundation is to provide funding through scholarships to graduates of Centura High School to further their education, to current Centura students who are enrolled in College Classes and to functions or projects benefiting the Centura District.

The Centura Educational Foundation (CEF) is a registered 501(c)(3) organization established in 1986. Donations to the Centura Educational Foundation may be submitted through personal donations or as part of estate planning.

The CEF funds approximately $100,000 annually for Centura Teacher Grants, Dunlap Scholarships for Centura high school graduates, and Tuition towards college online classes for Centura Juniors and Seniors. In addition, the CEF covers fees for Centura students selected for the Hall County Youth Leadership Tomorrow program. The CEF facilitates an annual GoBigGive campaign to support school and facility improvement projects in partnership with the Centura Board of Education and matches campaign contributions $10,000 - $20,000 annually.

Testimonials

The Centura band is currently in need of new uniforms. While the band is now smaller than in the past, their spirit remains "mighty." However, the uniforms themselves are showing serious signs of age and wear.

Having been in service for at least 14 years, our uniforms have far exceeded the average marching band uniform lifespan of 8 years. They are showing their age, displaying missing buttons, shredded lame, and frayed cuffs.

It is definitely time for a much-needed update to their appearance. The band members are incredibly proud of their recent accomplishments and are eagerly anticipating the day they can proudly march in new uniforms.
