Our organization dreams of a time when children and families are safe, healthy and thriving. The children and families that we serve are broken by abuse, neglect, poverty, and many other issues. We believe in advocating for the best interest of these children and families throughout the year, but Christmas gives us a special time to make an impact. Every child, no matter what they've been through, dreams of a magical Christmas morning. Each year, through our "Christmas Project" we make that magical morning happen for nearly 700 children in Northeast Louisiana. With the support of community sponsors, we are able to fulfill the "wish lists" of hundreds of children. Our staff is then able to deliver the gifts to each child's' home before Christmas so that "Santa" can leave them out on Christmas morning. Our goal is for every child to feel safe, loved, and special on Christmas morning, and we've seen the "Christmas Project" do just that.
