Chaffee County Hospitality Inc

Chaffee County Hospitality Inc. is located in Salida, CO. We provide emergency nighttime winter shelter for men and women, allowing a warm and safe place to sleep during our coldest months of November through April. This is our fifth season operating the shelters, which are the only shelters in Chaffee County. A hot meal is served each night, donated by members of our community. We help support the men and women staying at our shelters by connecting them to services within our city, county and state that are aimed at ending homelessness. We pay for motel rooms to house families, individuals with pets, people recovering after a hospital stay and people who identify as trans or nonbinary who are experiencing homelessness. We are low-barrier shelters, accepting people as they are.
