Challenged Sailors San Diego is the award-winning program providing free adaptive sailing for people with disabilities. Every Friday and Saturday from 11:00am-3:00pm!

MS, CP, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord, quadra/para...doesn't matter. You are wanted here. We make it a fun and exhilarating experience for our adaptive sailors.

We have eight sailboats made especially for adaptive sailing. Adaptive sailors can actually pilot our sailboats along with an experienced companion sailor who sits right behind them. Or adaptive sailors can sit back and relax and enjoy an afternoon on the water. We are here to fit your needs and make you feel comfortable. That's why we were awarded US Sailing's Robie Pierce Award for outstanding adaptive sailing, the most significant award honored each year in our field.

But here's the thing - CSSD is a totally volunteer-run organization. 100% dependent on volunteers and donations. We rely on the community's generosity to enable us to fulfill our mission.  There is no charge for our sailors and volunteers to enjoy a day on the water.

So please help! Make a donation. We cannot sustain our FREE WEEKLY programming without your support. You really do make a different in the lives of people whose lives are changed by being part of adaptive sailing.
