Chandler Education Foundation Inc

Since 1986 The Chandler Education Foundation (CEF) has provided educational funding in the form of teacher and school wide grants to enhance educational excellence in the classroom; Programs and projects that would otherwise go unfunded due to the constant decline in the state K-12 funding.  Brand new teachers face the daunting and expensive task of starting their teacher careers in a financial deficit due to the high cost of adequately stocking their classrooms with the proper teaching supplies.  CEF provides each brand new teacher in the school district with a gift certificate to purchase such items to ensure successful learning.

Life-Long Learning Legacy Scholarship for CUSD teachers seeking higher education in specialized fields including: National Board Certification, Special Education, Gifted Endorsement and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math)  Oftentimes the only barrier preventing our teachers from receiving a degree or certificate in these specialty areas is the significant cost of the program. Through CEF’s fundraising efforts, teachers may apply for up to $1,000 scholarship (renewable for one additional year) to use for their continuing education.  Want to recognize a teacher who significantly impacted you during your K-12 years?  Consider donating to the LLL Program in honor of or in memory of that special teacher. 

CEF manages and provides scholarships to our most deserving CUSD high school seniors seeking a post-secondary education at the Community College, Vo-Tech or University level, with no administrative cost to the donor.  CEF is proud to announce that 100 % of the donations received from our private donors go directly to the scholarship recipient.
