Changing Tides Foundation

A nonprofit organization

Established in 2016 by a group of female surfers and adventurers, Changing Tides Foundation empowers women to protect the planet and support inclusivity and diversity in and out of the ocean. We do this through mentorship programs, education, clean water, media, story-telling and the ocean. Empowering women promotes healthy economies and productivity and is critical in addressing climate change and pollutions issues successfully.  From plastic pollution to climate change, our goal is to activate all individuals and communities to participate in global solutions to benefit the future of our planet.

We collaborate with global non-profits to implement community solutions to promote gender equality and ocean health. We encourage everyone to take a look at how we consume and dispose of things, in an effort to combat climate change. We educate about composting, food waste and encourage regenerative agriculture. We invite everyone to protect our oceans and wildlife by using less single-use plastic in their daily lives and on their travels to reduce pollution and eliminate marine debris.
