Chapman Richards Cares

Company Overview

Chapman Richards Cares is a committee of real estate agents working in behalf of all Chapman Richards & Associates agents to encourage and organize charitable participation in the Salt Lake Valley. The goal of the group is to participate in one "hands on" event each quarter and to raise money to support worthy charitable organizations in our community.

Description

In 2010, we volunteered over 100 hours of volunteer labor to The Road Home, the shelter that provides emergency housing and clothing to homeless families and individuals. We also provided volunteers, goods and donations to The Candy Cane Store for homeless families, The Bennion School, The Road Home and the Maliheh Free Clinic. Additionally, over the holidays, we “adopted” several individual fami...lies in need.

Our 2011 activities included serving breakfast to the homeless under the viaduct (approximately 100 man hours), volunteering for the Veterans Administration fund drive and VA Stand Down, blood drive participation and a food drive which raised $1,700 and over 1,400 pounds of food for the Utah Food Bank. We also gave $4,000 to the Maliheh and Hope Free Medical Clinics in Salt Lake County.

So far this year, Chapman Richards Cares and our generous sponsors have provided volunteer hours, equipment and money to The Eagle Ministries, a charity that has provided hot meals to homeless individuals every Sunday for over 25 years.

We encourage our affiliates: lenders, title companies, inspection companies and our clients to donate to Chapman-Richards Cares and to participate with us in our scheduled volunteer activities.
