What's behind the Purple Door?

We are raising funds to help launch the new LGBT Health Resource Center of Chase Brexton Health Care!

The purpose of the Resource Center is to provide LGBT individuals and their families with welcoming access to expert health information and resources that will enhance wellness and quality of life.

Since its founding in the gay community in 1978, LGBT health has been and remains a core pillar of Chase Brexton Health Care. As an organization, however, we believe health is far more than simply the physical care of the body and we know all to well that LGBT health disparities are far greater than even research has determined. 

Therefore, the LGBT Health Resource Center will be an agent of change, establishing new clinical programs, offering support services for teens, seniors, and families, serving as a wellness liaison, providing cultural competency training to our colleagues in the field, and improving health literacy in our communities.

All of our donors will be the first to see our plans for the new LGBT Health Resource Center of Chase Brexton Health Care.
